Hello to all in blogland. This is not only my very first day menu planning but my first day in the blogesphere as well. My blog is not quite complete on everthing I want on it but it is a work in progress. I am working on organizing my life my home and my family! My goal (because I don't like the word resolution) is to get my home and daily runnings of my home done and going in smooth order by the end of the year.
That being said I am working in baby steps first being menu planning. My menu is very simple and I will work on getting a recipe section on this here blog but I am starting by just planning M-F dinners. Right now my daughter eats breakfast and lunch at school and so my son and I just kind of wing it so I am starting with our main family meal dinner and will be working on getting an entire menu planned over the next few months. Smothered Steak
Wednesday:
Chicken and rice (without using and canned cream of chicken or cream of mushroom)
Thursday:
Shrimp and Polenta

I hope all of you wonderful ladies have a great time cooking this week. I will work on getting the recipe's up soon. You will find throughout my recipes that I try to cook as much as possible from scratch. I havn't ventured into making my own cheese, yogurt, sour cream or mayo yet so those things I still buy from the store!
